Classical Range

There are many pottery shapes that have stood the test of time and become what we consider to be classics of their kind. The origin of these shapes owes almost as much to the materials used as to the prevailing fashions of the day.

Before the advent of modern materials, pots and urns were mainly made from clay, metal or stone all of which have specific properties limiting the possible shapes and finishes. Now we are able to make very large, lightweight pots in any shape because of new materials there is still a desire for the classical shapes and finishes, even if they have been simplified somewhat. These designs will continue to be in demand while classic garden design remains popular.
