These rustic handmade planters are fired in traditional woodfired kilns in southern Vietnam using techniques that have been employed for centuries.

Although the kiln sites and clay sources are threatened by urban expansion, we are still able to access these planters, for the time being, at a reasonable price.

The pots and planters produced in these kilns are very strong and durable and the glazes have been lightly sandblasted to a matt finish.

The finish is quite robust and can be cleaned with brush or high-pressure hose.

To clean use a mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush or rag. Avoid harsh chemical and abrasives.

Plants such as bamboo, strelitzia, and other vigorous rooted plants will eventually outgrow and damage the planter if not repotted as they become too large. Failure to do so may void warranty.

Finishes may vary from those shown in picture.
